Verve Reads ("we," "us") operates ververeads.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to ververeads.com only. Our other websites, Book Club Connection, Prolific Works, and Heybeta, are separate services with their own privacy policies.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways:

Information you give us. If you subscribe to our email updates, we collect your email address. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the role you select, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google and discloses your IP address to Google in the process. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

How we use it

To respond to messages you send us.
To send occasional email updates you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.
To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it lives

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify on our behalf, and copies are delivered to our email, which is hosted by Google Workspace. Email updates are sent through our email service provider. These providers process your information only to provide their services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep subscriber emails until you unsubscribe, and contact form messages for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and maintain our records.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@ververeads.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will honor valid requests under those laws.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including serving this site over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other websites

This site links to our other websites and to third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
